Dr. Kristina Wert comes from a military lifestyle and is new to the Anchorage area in 2023. She graduated from Purdue University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University in 2014. Dr. Wert is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and has previously practiced in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, and Tennessee. Outside of work, Dr. Wert enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter along with their pets. She also enjoys reading, running, and exploring the outdoors with her family. Dr. Wert is passionate about public health, preventative medicine, client education, and dentistry and is excited to uphold the VCA standards of providing excellent care for your pets.
